So I'm watchin this movie the other day called The Perfect Storm. You guys see it yet? Oh man, ya, it's a good movie. If you haven't you gotta. It's a good date movie, too. Especially if you been with your chick for a while, ya know? Take her to see it. Guys, take notes now ... take her to go see it after you've had a HUGE fight. Especially if you think you're right but she won anyway. Go see it all the way through, hold her close to your heart, and hold her tightly in your arms. Then when walkin out, casually go... "Ya know, honey, I been meaning to take up deep sea fishing lately ... " oooooooh. She'll either crumble and be yours or sock you in the eye like that Mark Walburg kid.

Speaking of which, I got a question for you all. Ok, in the movie after she and Mark Walburg's character have a fight, they wake up the next morning and he's got a slight black eye. She's all apologizing and he's brushing it off like no big deal. Um ... what the fuck? If the roles had been reversed and it was the black eye on the chick, the guy would have been labeled a DICK and people would be scramblin to kick his ass over his abusive behavior. But when a woman does it?

"Oh she's just playin rough."

Oh fuck you. Folks, lemme tell you something, that is sexism pure n simple. You can cry bullshit all you want, but here's how you can tell it's a sexist situation, or at least one that's hypocritical. If something happenes to a guy or between a man and a woman, and you switch the genders in the scenario and it changes the out come due to their gender...? that's sexism. Like you can't romantisize a black eye on a woman these days. Back in the days of John Wayne you could. Because women were looked at like children. Infurior and not worth much. Which is bullshit, am I right ladies? The Duke would wake up and waltz over to his six shooter, put his guns on, turn to his woman with a black eye who's brushing it off and go

"sorry I got a little rough on ya last night."

Back in his day that was ok. Socially speaking that is. But do you women think it's ok? noooooo. Did you back then? noooooooooo. So why is it ok to do that to guys now?

"Oh men are stronger so women should be able to do it, guys can take a beating."

#1 isn't that stereo-typing men? Stereo-typing men as big brutes who should be able to take a woman's punch and not hit back because he's supposed to control his feelings? That's an old fashioned stereo type and completely sexist.

and

#2 By saying that, isn't that implying that woman are a weaker species? I don't think women are. But by following this stereo-type and this sexism, you ladies are allowing yourselves to be descriminated against.

See, the sexual revolution and equal rights is just that *equal*. If a guy hits a chick, the chick should be able to hit back, right? So if she hits him first, why can't he hit her back? Not a socially acceptable thing. But it's hypocritical for it not to happen. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating abuse or violence. Both of those are fucked up things. But what I am saying is that if we're fighting a battle of *equality*, we really should be setting our goal based on our battle's subject and title, ya know?
